I’m trying to get J to get over his aversion to cold foods esp because he is teething so we shared this mid-morning snack.

Ice cream in the morning you say?! NO WAY! It’s actually nice cream! Made entirely out of banana! (Well and a touch of unsweetened organic cocoa powder). 1 very ripe banana

1⃣Cut banana into small chunks and freeze in a safe container (we used our @oogaababy Bowl) for at least 24 hours.
2⃣Put frozen bananas in a good quality food processor or hand blender (we used our Ninja) and blend. Banana will get grainy at first. Stop and scrape down the sides then blend again. Keep going until suddenly poof like magic it reaches ice cream texture!
If you want to mix it with something like cocoa, PB, coconut or honey throw it into the blender with the banana. We made half plain banana and half chocolate banana.
Sadly J didn’t want it. Darn…more for me I’m so sad 😈
Cold aversion wins again! Anyone else got a tot that hates cold things?
