Apple Cinnamon Honey Pork Chops
These were made from our yummy pork from @harrington_lane_farms a local small scale organic meat farm. Yum! I also got these flowers from there but I can’t identify them. Anyone know?
4 pork chops
2 apples, cored and sliced
1 onion, sliced
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp all spice
1/2 tsp nutmeg
2 tbsp honey (we used whole spice granulated honey)
2 tbsp butter
Salt and pepper to taste on adult chops
1⃣Melt butter in pan on high heat (if you have a cast iron pan use it) and add pork chops. Let them sit 4-5 mins on each side without touching so they get golden brown and seared. Then remove and set aside.
2⃣Add apples, onion, spices and honey again on high heat and let them sit a few mins. Stir them and let sit again. Keep repeating until they sear and caramelize a bit.
3⃣Re-add pork chops to the pan and mix together letting them heat up a min and mix in with the other flavours. Then remove from heat and serve.
J enjoyed this! He ate a whole pork chop plus a whole bunch of apples and onions ☺️
✔️ok 1 year. To make ok for under 1 don’t add the honey.
