Homemade Strawberry Passion Flakie

Homemade Strawberry Cream Cheese Passion Flakie

I was sitting there trying to figure out what to do with some leftover berries and this hit me. I don’t know why it took this long lol.
I made some baby jam to fill them (and then in my adult one I also put some Strawberry Lemoncello Jam 😱). These are baby friendly so they are low on sugar but if you want to make adult versions just add more sugar to the filling.

8 squares of puff pastry, thawed
2 cups strawberries, chopped
2 tbsp sugar/ honey
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 cup water
1 cup cream cheese
2 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg, beaten

1⃣ In a small pot boil strawberries, water, sugar and lemon juice. Stir occasionally and boil down until strawberries are thick and sticky (jam like)
2⃣Meanwhile beat together with mixer cream cheese, milk and vanilla until it is light and spreadable. If you are having issues use a blender but this will make it VERY VERY liquidy fast.
3⃣Fill four puff pastry squares with strawberry mixture and then a spoonful of cream cheese mix. Lay on the other four puff pastry squares, fold the edges up and press down with a fork to seal them. Wash with beaten egg.
4⃣Bake at 400 for 15-20 mins until puffed and gold.

Top with more cream cheese frosting and extra strawberry.

So tasty!!! J ate half of one.
