Sweet Chili Thai Garlic Brussels Sprouts

Made these yummy sides for our first #instaweanteam challenge! The recipe is inspired by @lane_supperforasteal who has an awesome version on her blog! She also has a bunch of other budget friendly meals👌

You can adapt the level of spice you want to offer baby very easily!!

10-15 Brussels Sprouts quartered

1 tbsp Sesame oil

1 tbsp grated ginger or ginger paste

1 clove minced or pressed garlic

Sweet Chili Thai Sauce to taste

Hot Sauce to taste (We used @formosasauce)

1⃣ Heat oil and sauté ginger and garlic for 1 min.

2⃣Add sprouts saute until softer approx 8-10 mins.

3⃣If you wish for no spice remove baby’s portion now. If not add whatever hot sauce and sweet chili sauce you feel comfy giving baby and saute another 5 mins.

4⃣Remove baby’s portion and if you want even spicier add more sauce! Serve.

We gave J some with a small amount of sauce but not the full adult amount.

✔️8 months plus because sprouts can be hard for starters. You can break leaves apart for baby to eat easier.
