Vegetable Congee, Buttered Radishes and Raspberries

Congee is like asian chicken soup. You eat it when you are sick. I eat it cause it’s delicious lol. It’s basically a thick rice porridge soup. I used a recipe from fellow #instaweanteam member @mama.of4 ❤️ the recipe is on her page. If you can’t find it DM me.

We did a combo of preloaded spoons and direct spoon feeding for the congee and BLW for the rest.

J is trying radishes for the first time. For the longest time I had no idea what to do with radishes and then I discovered buttered radishes ❤️❤️❤️❤️ It needs a bit of adapting for baby but sooooo good.

1 bunch radishes cut in half

1.5 tbsp butter

1/3 cup water

1 tsp sugar

½ tsp salt

1⃣ Melt butter in pan and add radishes.

2⃣ Saute 1 min then add water and cover for 15 mins until radishes are tender.

3⃣Remove baby’s portion if avoiding sugar/salt

4⃣add sugar and salt and let boil down to a glaze. Serve.

He ate the whole plate. ✔️ok for beginners use preloaded spoons for congee.
